New every morning is thy love
Our wakening and uprising prove;
Through sleep and darkness safely brought,
Restored to life and power and thought
Been a long while since I blogged!
There are times our relationship with God become distant, not a fault of His, but ours, when we allow the cares of this world to come between we and him.
One thing we must bear in mind is that God's love for us is always fresh. Human relationships can become stale over time, and need refreshing like a weekend getaway with a loved one, vacation time with the kids, an away day with colleagues in the office, just to refreshen our relationships.
God is always there for us and yearns for our fellowship with Him.
